General questions

Sending Emails
To send emails you must add emails to your address book first. Then creat a list or send to addresses in you address book.
The steps involved in this process are really simple. All you need to do is:
  • Click on address book on the navbar
  • Then click on add
  • Enter the name and email seperated my a coma. Use new line for the next address. note: if name is not supplied the email will be substituted as the name.
Yes! you can import from all three.

  • Click on the service of the provider would like to import from? note: if name is not supplied the email will be substituted as the name.
List are a group of emails that you can create that you can send to without having to select the same emails everytime.
To create a list and add emails
  • Click on address book on the navbar
  • Then click on manage lists
  • Enter the name for the lists you would like to create and click submit.
  • Click on the name of the list you just created and select the emails you would like to add to the list.
Email campaings are for email marketing or for sending emails to a lager group of people. To send an email campaign all you have to do is directly paste your HTML code into the box select the list that you would like to send to and initiate the sending. email sent via the campaign interface require all code including the HTML and BODY tags.
When your recepient opens up your email of the first time. The system will notify you instantly via email that the sent email was opened. If you wish not to recieve email conformations you can turn this feature off in the setting panel.
A copy of the original email is sent to your signup address with all the emails recipients that the email was sent to.
Account
To change you plan. click on settings select the plan submit. You will automatically be billed for the plan selected every 30 days for the plan change date. Note: the system will process the plan change immediatly any previous remaining time on the prior plan will be lost.
To cancel you plan please select the BASIC click on settings select the BASIC plan submit. Note: the system will process the plan change immediatly any previous remaining time on the prior plan will be lost.
For security reasons this cannot be done via the settings panel. To completely delete your account please contact customer service. service@support.mailmark.io
To change your registered email address go to settings enter the new email address submit. Note: The system will validate the email before accepeting the change. During this time the status will turn read please wait for it to turn green. You must log out and login back in for the change to take effect.
To change your sender name go to settings enter the new name submit. Note: change is instant.
The default time zone is set to UTC to change this go to settings select your Time Zone for the dropdown box wait for conformation of the change. Note: change is instant.
In a small number of cases accounts an automatically disabled for 2 reasons.
  • Excessive user complaints
  • High email bounce %
If more than 40% of your emails bounce the account is placed on hold. You must contact customer service for further verification before begin able to access the account again. service@support.mailmark.io Note: there are no refunds plans that have usage activity
There are no refunds for accounts that show usage activity. To cancel your plan effective immediatly please switch to our BASIC plan.
Email Delivery
Email delivery depends on a whole host of issues. Most of the time deliveries are instantly made when the email delivery is tried. Sometimes the receiving servers are busy and will temporarily restrict delivery. In this case, the email will be retried according to a set schedule.
To be compliant with the CAN-SPAM act and keep your email from being delivered to spam we include a small conspicuous link on the bottom of every email letting the user unsubscribe. This improves deliverability as your subscriber does not need to the click spam button in order to avoid emails from being received in the future. If a user clicks the SPAM button this jeopardizes delivery to all other users using the same email service ie. Gmail. Letting users unsubscribe is useful keeping am emailed out of the spam folder. Note: emails that are unsubscribed are deactivated and removed from all lists.
When you send an email. It is either accepted or rejected by the receiving system. This could be for a various number of reasons. The address no longer exists, A fake email provided to you by your subscriber etc.... our system will retry to deliver the email and if all attempts the email is deactivated and removed from all lists. If you constantly try to deliver emails to fake addresses services like Gmail may mark all future emails as spam or stop accepting them altogether. This keeps your future deliveries healthy.
Address Book
The steps involved in this process are really simple. All you need to do is:
  • Click on address book on the navbar
  • Then click on add
  • Enter the name and email seperated my a coma. Use new line for the next address. note: if name is not supplied the email will be substituted as the name.
Emails cannot be deleted once added. They can only be activated and deactivated. To Deactivate and email fromt the service.
  • Click on address book on the navbar
  • → deactivate
  • Tick the name and email you wish to deactivate and submit the request. note: deactivated emails are removed from all associated lists.
Emails can be reactivated for the activation menu.
  • Click on address book on the navbar
  • → activate
  • Tick the name and email you wissh to activate and submit the request. note: activated emails must be added back to any lists they where on this is not done automatically.
Editing the name can be one on the dashboard.
  • On the DASH find the name you dish to edit
  • double click on the name. This will cause a box to openup and make the name editable
  • When finished editing → ENTER → This will cause the name to be updated.
Duplicate emails can't be added to the address book. The system will automatically alert you if you are trying to add an email that has already been added. Furthermore, when emails are imported from your external address book the MX records are checked to make sure the emails are valid. The structure of the emails is also checked to make sure the emails are formatted properly and duplicates are also removed prior to import.
Bounced emails are listed under the address book.
